We know, numbers aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but LTL loves a good math problem and we solves for “X” all the time. In fact, we use math and statistics to measure important health outcomes and risk factors. In April this year some of LTL’s own statistics were used in a paper describing depression among adults in Indonesia. Their research says more adults in Indonesia are identifying or reporting symptoms of depression. Using math and statistics, researchers can more accurately measure the number of people with diseases like depression, hypertension or diabetes. With improved measurements, NGOs, like LTL, can better prepare for their programs. LTL knows numbers aren’t for everyone but we certainly dig em’!
