We are thrilled to announce that we are heading back to Ufafa Valley, South Africa later this year, since our last visit in 2016. This year’s LTL South Africa team consists of our Executive Director Yanti Turang, Director of Programs and Operations, Rachel Witwer, and our In-country logistics director Alex Willson.
With this message, we are also excited to announce our partnership with Woza Moya – a non-profit organization based in KwaZulu-Natal. It is an honour and privilege to be working alongside the Woza Moya team, as Yanti and Sue, the Executive Director of Woza Moya, share similar vision and passion for their work. Woza Moya is a community-based NGO that has been working tirelessly to empower the people of Ufafa Valley, and to achieve sustainable, productive and healthy lives. The LearnToLive and Woza Moya collaboration will later focus on the development of health capacity building, reproductive health, hygiene and sanitation. Thank you for all the love and support we have been receiving from everyone in Ufafa Valley as well as our supporters elsewhere. We cannot wait to realise all the plans we have been working toward, but until then, see you soon in South Africa!
