Well friends, change is in the air. With heavy hearts, we must announce that we’ve had to cancel our 2019 volunteer program in North Sulawesi, in order to comply with recently enacted laws regulating foreign volunteers in Indonesia.
But although change can be hard, it can also bring opportunity.
And we are excited for our Indonesian team to launch the expansion of its Community Health Program, which builds capacity of local clinicians and brings Puskesmas (health center) workers out into the communities to provide direct care to high-need populations.
LTL is rolling with the changes, and we’d like to thank our crew, family and supporters for rolling along with us. We got this!
